Direct seasonal flights are available from Melbourne to Broome, operated by Qantas, with a flight time of approximately 4 hours and 35 minutes. These flights run from May to October, making it easy to plan a winter escape or a mid-year getaway when the weather in Melbourne is at its coldest.
For those travelling outside the direct flight window, Broome is still highly accessible via a short stopover in Perth. Daily flights connect Melbourne to Broome through Perth, allowing you to travel all year round with ease.
To make your arrival even more seamless, Cable Beach Club offers airport transfers direct from Broome International Airport to the resort, just let us know when you’re arriving and we’ll take care of the rest.
Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment & Seasonal Operations
Stage 2 of the Walmanyjun Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment has commenced, managed by the Shire of Broome. Due to construction works taking place in front of the Resort, the usual access points to the beach and the Resort entrance will temporarily change. Alternative routes will ensure you have continuous access. Please view essential information to help plan your stay.
Resort operations are seasonal. Between September – March, select dining venues may not be available, and the Kimberley Pool is closed from early January to late March. Ocean Pool is all-ages whilst Kimberley Pool is closed. The Resort is closed for essential maintenance 31 Jan – 4 Feb 2026.
