Walmanyjun Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment

Due for completion in mid-late 2026, the Cable Beach Precinct is in the midst of an incredible transformation.

Managed by the Shire of Broome, the Walmanyjun Cable Beach Foreshore Redevelopment is now in its final stage (Stage 2, Northern Precinct), developing the amphitheatre space and public car park to the west of Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa.

While this area will be temporarily inaccessible to the public during the project, alternative access to the Resort and the beach will be provided.

Resort guests, buses, and tours will be able to access the front entrance of Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa under traffic management, with signage in place to guide you.

Upgrades will only take place during daylight hours (7am – early evening). Please note, guests staying in our Suites, Oceanside Studios, and Club Apartments may notice some visual and auditory activity during this time.

Cable Beach will remain open throughout the project, with works occurring on the dunes and green space above the beach.

Below you will find a series of FAQs to help address any further queries you may have, and you can always reach out to our friendly reservations team for more information.

The redevelopment will transform the already iconic Cable Beach into a globally recognised waterfront precinct, improving accessibility and views whilst enhancing the area’s natural assets. To learn more about the upgrades, please visit The Cable Beach Redevelopment official website.
