If you’re heading to Broome during the dry season to witness iconic sunsets or visiting in summer to soak up the tropical breeze, we’ve compiled a helpful packing list to ensure you’re ready for every moment of your Cable Beach Club escape.
Understanding Broome’s Seasons
Broome is a tropical destination that offers something magical all year round. With an average annual maximum temperature of 32.2°C (89.9°F), you can expect warm weather no matter when you visit, but each season brings a slightly different experience.
High Season (April to September)
This is the peak travel period for a reason. Expect warm, sunny days and balmy evenings, perfect for dining under the stars, lounging poolside and witnessing the famous Cable Beach sunset.
If you’re visiting during this time, be sure to plan ahead, as flights, accommodation and tours are booked quickly. We recommend reserving activities like bespoke treatments at Chahoya Spa and dining experiences in advance to elevate your stay.
Summer Season (October to March)
Summer in Broome brings its own kind of magic. With fewer visitors around, the town’s laid-back atmosphere shines, enjoy the area’s natural beauty without the usual hustle and bustle.
The vibrant landscape shines during this time with spectacular sunsets, breathtaking rain showers, and lightning displays. The slower pace allows you to experience Broome at your own rhythm and enjoy the serenity.

Forgot something? Don’t worry. Each room is thoughtfully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash and shower caps.
If you need additional items, our onsite retail store offers a range of practical and premium travel essentials, from insect repellent and sunscreen to resort wear and accessories. Please get in touch with our friendly team if you have any questions.
Dress Codes at our Restaurants
While the Resort has a relaxed feel, some restaurants require guests to adhere to dress codes when dining. As Cichetti offers an elegant, fine dining experience, we ask guests to be dressed in neat, smart/casual attire. No flip-flops, singlets, or swimwear are to be worn and you may be asked to leave the restaurant if you do not meet these dress standards, even if you have a booking. The dress code at Kichi Kichi and Sol Mediterranean Restaurant is smart casual. We request guests to avoid wearing overly casual attire like swimsuits, gym attire and flip-flops.
Extras to Elevate Your Holiday
While not essential, these thoughtful extras can help you maximise your stay.
With this guide and your bags packed, you’ll be ready to slip into Broome time. From sun-drenched days and spectacular sunsets to extraordinary cuisine experiences and tranquil treatments at Chahoya Spa, Cable Beach Club promises the perfect blend of relaxation and discovery.
