Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa is located on the world famous Cable Beach in Broome, far north Western Australia. Broome is easily accessible by plane to all major Australian cities and offers a relaxed lifestyle with all the conveniences of shops, restaurants, cinemas, hospital and schools. Our property has 233 rooms of varying styles, 3 restaurants, pool side bars, tour desk, resort shop and a full service Day Spa and Hair Salon, Chahoya.

Our Award Winning Resort is currently looking for a suitably experienced Assistant Front Office Manager to join our Front Office team on a full time, ongoing basis. Reporting to the Front Office Manager, this hands on position will be responsible for assisting in the daily management of the staff and resources across the Front Office department, as well as ensuring the highest possible standards of service. 

 You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring service standards of all Front Office staff is professional, helpful and in line with the Resort's vision and goals at all times.
  • Ensuring the highest possible standards in room inventory management and sales.
  • The coordination and supervision of all guest arrivals and departures.
  • In conjunction with the Front Office Manager provide training and mentoring of department staff.
  • Dealing with guest complaints and issues and ensuring a prompt resolution. 
  • Performing Night Audit duties when required
  • Managing the department in the absence of the Front Office Manager

 Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Front Office Supervisory experience within a 4 or 5 star hotel or resort (essential).
  • Excellent organisational, time management and computer literacy skills
  • The ability to deal with guest issues in a timely, positive and professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail, interpersonal and communication skills
  • A high standard of personal presentation
  • Current manual driver's license
  • The willingness to work 24 hour rotational shifts as required
  • Experience using Opera PMS (preferable).
