Whether it’s an Arabian Nights extravaganza overlooking Cable Beach, Oriental Nights in the heart of the resort, a Pearling Masters dinner in the Sam Male Room or a Hollywood theme at Sun Pictures, the resort’s events team are on hand to create memorable experiences.
Pearling Masters Dinner
Guests dressed in their ‘pearling whites’ arrive ready to experience a taste of Broome history as a pearling community.
Guests dressed in their ‘pearling whites’ arrive ready to experience a taste of Broome history as a pearling community. Crisp white linen and chair covers, divers centrepieces with pearl shell, flickering soft lights and acoustic music create an intimate atmosphere. After dark, dance the night away under a star lit Kimberley sky. The ideal setting is the Club Restaurant, Sam Male Room or under the stars of the Amphitheatre.
Arabian Nights on the Amphitheatre
Enjoy an Arabian banquet with the stunning Cable Beach sunset as your backdrop. Begin the evening with a camel trek along Cable Beach before disembarking at the Amphitheatre to be greeted by bamboo flares and belly dancers creating a magical setting.
Guests are seated at knee-high tables on pillows under an open sided white marquee, before being served an Arabian-style feast.
The package includes Amphitheatre venue hire, Arabian style meal, four hour standard beverage package, cushions, low-lying banquet tables, Arabian style tablecloths, Arabian style centrepieces, belly dancers (subject to availability) and lighting.
Celebrate the Asian influenced culture bought to Broome by the early pearl divers and traders. Oriental fans, orchids, gold lanterns and an Asian inspired menu add to the ambience of your dinner setting. Oriental nights can be hosted poolside or at the Sun Pictures Theatre.
Hollywood at Sun Pictures
Famous for being the world’s oldest open air cinema, Sun Pictures is the perfect venue for a Hollywood inspired evening. Since its opening in 1916 the cinema has screened many Hollywood favourites. Dine under the stars on a balmy night with black table clothes, white Chevali chairs, film roll napkin holders, themed menus and fairy lights.
